Newcastle Florist

Posted on April 17, 2010

Does Google control our lives? I posted this article some time ago now, and upon reflection on my lates few posts I would say that Google certainly has a say in it. Take my client Newcastle Florist, I have been on a mission to get Newcastle Florist ranked in Google Maps (currently position D) and organicly for a while now and a few weeks ago we finally got them on the first page of Google Maps and to page 1 of SERPS.

Anway, Newcastle Florist’s sales went through the roof,  and I mean blaistic, until for no reason at all the map listing vanished mid-week, suffice is to say sales went DOWN fast. Then, after 24 hours, the Newcastle Florist listing reapperaed in maps, sales went back up again.

Does Google control my clients life?

This is a very interesting post about a topic that is close to my and my businesses heart – that is local SEO. For, I too own a florist and I have been desperate to rank better in Google Maps – too no avail of course. Thank you so much for the tips over the via email last week.
